Challenges for Days, an organized platform for advertising on-line Challenges.

Challenges for Days publishes our daily lists as soon as we can.  The volunteer "list managers" are located all over the world, as are the challenges that are listed.  We do the best job possible to ensure every challenge is updated and listed in a timely manner. 

THE ACTUAL LISTINGS

This is what a listing looks like:

This is what everything means, shown in relevant colors to above:

Challenge Name – Our Codes (found in the sidebar of the blog) - (challenge number, if any)                    Challenge Theme

The challenges are listed on 8 different posts; there are 7 different "DAY" lists (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, etc). These lists are updated WEEKLY on the specified day.

We also have some "By Date" lists. These are challenges which are always published on a specific date rather than day of the week. "BY DATE. not DAY" list.  The largest list we have is our Date not Day list, which lists challenges that begin on a specific DATE each month rather than a specific DAY.   This list is NOT updated daily.  If your challenge begins on specific DATE of the month, that is where you will find your listing.  If your challenge begins on a Thursday (regardless of which Thursday in the month), your challenge will be listed on the Challenges for Days Thursday List (daily list.)

For example:

First you will see a Daily List, then the By Date, not Day list.  These are EXAMPLES only and are subject to change without notice.

This is a DAILY LIST – these are updated each day of the week for challenges which always begin on a specific DAY, i.e., Sunday.

It begins with the challenges that are run WEEKLY and they are listed alphabetically.

Weekly ß--- this indicates that the weekly challenges begin below

THE "BY DATE, NOT DAY" LIST

The "By Date, not Day" list can be our most confusing list. It is a VERY large list and to make it easier to update, we have broken the list into many categories. This list is NOT updated daily.  Typically, the By Date, not Day list is updated 4 times a month.  However, new challenges can be added at any time.  The first challenges on the list are the ones that begin on the 1^st of the month and run for 2 weeks.  Next, you will find the challenges that begin on the 1^st but run 3 weeks, and after that, the ones which run for the entire month.  After the challenges that begin on the 1^st of the month and run until the end of the month, the process begins again with the challenges that begin on the 2^nd  day of the month, and so on. 

The By Date, not Day lists the challenges something like this:

STARTING DATE: 1^st 

·         Challenges that run from the 1^st for 2 weeks

·         Challenges that run from the 1^st for 3 weeks

·         Challenges that run from the 1^st until the End of the Month

STARTING DATE: 2^nd

·         Challenges that run from the 2^nd for 2 weeks

·         Challenges that run from the 2^nd  for 3 weeks

·         Challenges that run from the 2^nd until the End of the Month

STARTING DATE: 3^rd

·         Challenges that run from the 3^rd  for 2 weeks

·         Challenges that run from the 3^rd  for 3 weeks

·         Challenges that run from the 3^rd  until the End of the Month

There will be dates of the month in which no challenges begin

STARTING DATE: 5^th

·         Challenges that run from the 5^th for 2 weeks

·         Challenges that run from the 5^th for 3 weeks

·         Challenges that run from the 5^th until the End of the Month

All of the same “rules” apply; there will be occasional DT calls, Picture Inspirations, and other additions.  However, you will be told where to find pictures and whatnot.
